How to Remove a Pop-Up Sprinkler Head
- 1). Grasp the sprinkler head of the sprinkler body.
- 2). Twist the sprinkler head to the left (counterclockwise) and fully unscrew it.
- 3). Pull the sprinkler head off of the sprinkler housing.
- 1). Grab the sprinkler body with one hand.
- 2). Clamp a pair of needle-nose pliers around the edges of the spray head nozzle on top of the sprinkler body.
- 3). Twist the spray head to the left to unscrew it and pull it off.
- 1). Insert the sprinkler adjustment tool into the pull-up slot of the spray head. Twist the tool to the left and pull the sprinkler stem up.
- 2). Insert the sprinkler adjustment tool into the radius adjustment screw on the top of the spray head.
- 3). Twist the tool to the left (counterclockwise), until the nozzle on the side of the stem loosens.
- 4). Pull the nozzle out.
