Display Ideas for Christmas Window Clings

104 16
    • Window clings are an easy way to display some Christmas decorations without taking up a lot of space. They are especially helpful for those that do not have a lot of extra room to spare for decorations or do not have a substantial amount of money to spend. Window clings are also great to look at for those that pass, or enter into, your home.

    Nativity Scene

    • You can set up an entire nativity scene on the bottom of your window. Purchase a window cling of the manger with Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. You can also purchase clings of the Three Wise Men. To complete the scene, put up clings of animals such as lambs and donkeys.

    Holly Window

    • Put window clings of holly leaves with berries and some small candy cane clings about an inch or two from the frame of the window all along the edges. Consider placing one candy cane window cling after every two or three holly leaves. Even such a simple display can look quite beautiful.

    Snow Scene

    • Place snowdrift window clings on the bottom edge of your window. Place various size snowflake window clings all over the rest of the window to resemble falling snow. To add a little more color, place a Christmas tree cling on top of one of the snowdrifts.

    Christmas Tree Scene

    • Put a large Christmas tree cling on the bottom center of the window. Use window clings in the shape of wrapped presents to put under the tree. Put some of the presents one right above the other to resemble a stacked gift pile. Hang a wreath window cling close to the tree. You can also put some window clings of unwrapped gifts, such as a train set or a doll, next to the bottom of the tree.

    Christmas Fun Scene

    • Hang up a window cling of an ice skating pond with people or animals skating on it next to one with people or animals on sleds. You can also put up window clings of carolers singing Christmas tunes. For a final touch, put up one that says "Merry Christmas."

    Santa and Friends

    • Instead of just putting up a window cling of Santa Claus, put up a few of his friends as well. You can put up window clings of some snowmen, reindeer and elves. You may also want to put up one of Mrs. Claus.
