Picture

• 1). Press the "Menu" button on the remote control.
  
  
• 2). Push the "Four-Way Navigator" buttons to highlight "Picture" and push the "OK" or "Enter" button to select it. Some flat screen TVs allow you to select the menu item with the "Four-Way Navigator" button.
  
  
• 3). Scroll down to "Brightness." Push the navigation button to the right to select and adjust the brightness.
  
  
• 4). Highlight "Color." Push the navigation button to the right to select and adjust it.
  
  
• 5). Highlight "Tint." Press the navigation button to the right to select it. Press the navigation buttons to the left or right to adjust the tint until the color balance is correct.
  
  
• 6). Highlight "Contrast." Press the navigation button to the right to select it and adjust the contrast to the left or right.
  
  
• 7). Select "Color Temperature." Push the navigation button to the right to toggle through the choices: "Normal" for white whites, "Cool" for a bluish tint or "Warm" for a reddish tint. Press "OK" or confirm with the navigation button.
  
  

Sound

• 1). Press the "Menu" button on the remote control.
  
  
• 2). Highlight "Sound." Push "OK" or "Enter" to select it. You can also use the "Four-Way Navigator" button.
  
  
• 3). Select "Auto Volume" or "Auto Volume Leveling" and turn it "On." The TV will automatically adjust the sound.
  
  
• 4). Highlight "Balance." Press the "Four-Way Navigator" to the left or right to control the balance in the speakers in the TV as well as the speakers connected to the TV.
  
  
• 5). Select "Equalizer" to adjust individual sound tones. Use the navigation button to toggle through the settings and adjust them.
