How to Clean Viva Beads
- 1). Wipe your Viva Beads jewelry gently with a dry lint-free, soft microfiber textured cloth--for general maintenance and/or light cleaning--to remove debris such as dust or skin flakes. Although polymer clay typically withstands staining, Viva Beads jewelry may need additional cleaning to remove debris such as dirt, perfume/cologne or skin oils, make-up or food clinging to the polymer beads or any other surfaces of the jewelry. Go to Step 2, to rinse away dirt or Step 3 to clean your Viva Beads jewelry more thoroughly.
- 2). Rinse your Viva Beads with a microfiber cloth and hot water. Dry completely with another microfiber cloth.
- 3). Place one or more drops of laundry detergent on a small-bristled brush or toothbrush, depending on the size of the area (one bead or the entire jewelry piece) that you're cleaning, and gently scrub your Viva Beads, other beads and/or jewelry findings to remove any clinging debris. Add additional drops as necessary. Once finished, rinse to remove the detergent residue and wipe with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
