How Can You Tell If You Are Pregnant?

103 272
Symptoms of pregnancy may vary among women.
Some women just days within conception may experience discomforts while some others can go for weeks without feeling any symptom at all.
Some of the symptoms of pregnancy are similar to that of pre-menstruation but there are specific indications that can tell if you're really pregnant.
The most common symptom if you're pregnant is nausea and vomiting.
The first few weeks may be very difficult for you since you'll experience lots of morning sickness.
We are not sure why this is so but one way to manage these symptoms is by controlling your blood sugar levels.
You can do this by eating foods that are high in protein and carbohydrates.
As your uterus grows to support the baby, the major arteries in your legs are compressed, causing a significant drop in your blood pressure.
This may result to light-headedness and you will usually feel dizzy when you are standing in one place for a long period of time.
Make sure you don't skip your meals because skipping meals may also contribute to your feeling dizzy.
Perhaps the most obvious symptom if you're pregnant is missed periods.
Sometimes light bleeding or spotting may occur and that would make you think that you are just having your period.
But you'll find out sooner that you're not having your monthly period and that you're actually pregnant once the bleeding stops.
Usually, within two weeks after you get pregnant you will start to feel that you need to urinate a lot.
That is because your growing uterus is putting too much pressure on your bladder causing you to feel and think that you need to urinate as soon as possible.
Avoid drinking lots of water if you want to manage this symptom.
There are other signs and symptoms that indicate whether you are really pregnant or not and the above stated are just some of them.
Other symptoms may include breast tenderness, irritability, over fatigue and even heartburn.
If you are positive with all of these symptoms then you can be sure that it's not just pre-menstruation symptoms but that you are in fact having a baby!
