Walt Fite Jr
Walter J Fite believes that simplicity is often the most effective and least costly approach. His strong belief helped him to be known for building strategic partnerships and alliances with all levels of employees, customers and suppliers. His 33 years of experience in the manufacturing industry can be credited to his ability to be versatile and adaptable in new roles, responsibilities and environment given to him. Walter is a solutions-focused leader in quality management, training and continuous improvement who chooses to use the practical "common sense" approach to problem solving throughout the organization.
Walter Fite started honing his technical skills in Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, Jamison, Pa and continued with getting a degree as an Associate for Specialized Technology (Welding Technology) in 1976. In 1983, Walter took some courses toward Mechanical Engineering Technology at Temple University, Philadelphia which lasted until 1986. He attended numerous Lean, 5s, Six Sigma training courses and other related courses and seminars through the years.
Walter J Fite's career began when he joined SPS Technologies Inc. in Jenkintown, PA from September 1978 to August 1981 where he served as a Set-up-Operator in the Areospace Machining Department. On August of 1981, Fite joined Lockheed Martin (Loral) Fairchild Systems as an Inspection Supervisor. During this time he traveled extensively as division source inspector and trained extensively in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Walter Fite then became the Director of Quality in January of 1990 at Pennfield Precision Inc., Sellersville, PA in charge of all quality functions including budgeting and purchasing for a company with $13MM - 15mm annual sales. He became a part of Delva Tool and Machine Corporation in Cinnaminson, NJ on January 1995 and left May of 2000. On the same month and year, Fite became Quality Manager / Engineer for Alloy Surfaces Company Inc. for 6 years and then Director of Quality Engineering and Supply Chain Management on March 2006. On August 2008, Walter came back to Delva Tool and Machine Corporation where he championed Kaizen events targeting productivity improvement, cost and lead-time reduction, quality improvement, process innovation and waste elimination.

His professionalism and flexibility paved the way for him to work with loyal clients that resulted in the success of all of the programs he handled and their being on time and in budget.
