Strattera Side Effects for Children
- The most common Strattera side effects in children are nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, upset stomach, dizziness, tiredness, mood swings and slowing of growth.
- Serious side effects in children are allergic reactions to Strattera, including hives and swelling.
- Other side effects are insomnia, headaches, fast heart rate, dry mouth, constipation, sweating, rash, urinary hesitancy or retention, cough, ear infection and rarely liver injury.
- Those who have glaucoma, allergies to anything in Strattera or have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor anti-depression medication in the prior 14 days should not take Strattera.
