Rescon Side Effects
- Rescon is a prescription drug administered in liquid form that relieves symptoms of cough and congestion by specifically constricting blood vessels and shrinking swollen nasal tissues. It also acts to thin and loosen mucus in the throat so that it may be more easily coughed out. It is most often used in cases of the common cold, flu and hay fever.
- According to Drugs.com, Rescon is capable of producing the following common and less serious side effects: dizziness, headache, insomnia, weakness, anxiety, nausea and excitability. Although these side effects are common and less serious than others, if one or several persist or intensify, seek immediate medical attention.
- Users of Rescon have been known to experience the following serious and less common side effects: irregular urination, irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness, headache, severe allergic reaction including swelling of the face or throat, seizures and tremors. These side effects are serious and require immediate medical attention. If any occur, do not hesitate to find medical assistance.
- Use Rescon exactly as prescribed to you by your doctor. Do not delineate from the dose size or duration of the medication. Measure the dose of Rescon in the specified measuring cup. Do not use a regular spoon for measurements. Rescon can be taken with or without food but should be taken with an 8 oz. glass of water.
- Never take a double dose of Rescon to make up for a missed dose. Do not take Rescon with alcohol is it may intensify certain side effects. Do not mix Rescon with any other over-the-counter cough medications. When attempting to drive, make sure that you are alert, as Rescon may impair reactions.
