How to Make a Cardboard Knife
- 1). Put a sheet of newspaper on a table. Place the cardboard on the table. Place the hunting knife on the cardboard with the blade pointing to the right
- 2). Trace around the hunting knife with the black magic marker. Remove the hunting knife.
- 3). Place the tracing paper on top of the cardboard. Trace the handle of the knife on the tracing paper with a pencil.
- 4). Trace the black magic marker lines of the knife on the cardboard with the blade of the utility knife. Cut through the tracing with the utility knife. Put aside the excess cardboard.
- 5). Cut a few vertical slits in the bottom of the "blade" of the cardboard knife to simulate serrated edges.
- 6). Put the tracing paper onto the excess cardboard. Cut out the tracing of the handle on the excess cardboard using the utility knife.Put the cutout of the handle on the excess cardboard. Cut around the handle with the utility knife to cut out another handle.
- 7). Apply the glue stick to one side of one of the two handles. Put the handle, glue side down, on top of the handle of the knife that was cut out of the cardboard. Apply the glue stick to one side of the other handle. Put the handle, glue side down, on top of the handle on the other side of the knife that was cut out of cardboard. Let the glue dry for ten minutes.
- 8). Color the handle on both sides of the cardboard knife with the black magic marker. Color the blade of the cardboard knife with the sliver magic marker. Allow to set for about two hours.
- 9). Color the edges of both sides of the handle with the gray magic marker. Smudge the edges of both sides of the handle with a rough cloth. Let set for two hours.

Color the "sharp" edges of both sides of the blade with the white magic marker. Finish by smudging the "sharp" edges of both sides of the blade with the rough cloth.
