How to Make a Sheep Ornament
- 1). Insert an inch of the toothpick into the 1-inch Styrofoam ball. Apply hot glue around the toothpick and insert the other end all the way into the 2 1/2-inch Styrofoam ball.
- 2). Break 4 cinnamon sticks to measure 2 inches long. Determine placement of the cinnamon stick legs and make four holes 1/2-inch deep with the cinnamon sticks. Apply hot glue to one end of the cinnamon sticks and insert them into the sheep ornament body.
- 3). Cut several strips of 1 x 12-inch long pieces of white fake fur. Starting at the tail end of the sheep ornament, apply hot glue to the back of the strips and wrap in a spiral fashion around the sheep's body and head. Cut a small 1-inch square from the white fake fur and glue over the face of the sheep ornament.
- 4). Cut two pieces of black felt for ears, 1 x 1/2-inch wide. Round the corners on one short side. Insert the ears into the fur on the upper half of the sheep ornament's head. Apply craft glue to hold and allow the ears to dry.
- 5). Apply blush to the cheeks using the cotton swab.
- 6). Glue the small black seed bead eyes between the ears. Allow the glue to dry.
- 7). Rip a 1 x 12-inch strip of fabric. Tie the fabric strip around the sheep's neck and tie in a bow behind the head. Trim the ends if necessary.
- 8). Cut a 10-inch length of black crochet thread and loop it around the fabric tie behind the head. Knot the ends together to create a hanging loop for the sheep ornament.
