Easy Church Easter Crafts

    Cross Crafts

    • Many projects center on the cross, the most recognizable symbol in Christianity. Children can decorate their own craft sticks or strips of construction paper and glue one over the other. You can then loop a piece of yarn to make the cross a necklace or glue it to another piece of paper.

    Faith Necklaces

    • Encourage your pupils to demonstrate their faith by stringing different beads through a necklace. The beads may vary in size and color. Some could be hearts, crosses or plain spheres. Finally, secure the two ends of the strings , then place the necklace around the child's neck.

    Trinity Craft

    • Another simple craft is to make a triangle representing the Holy Trinity. Pass out three craft sticks to each child and tell them to decorate them any way they wish. Next, glue the ends so that the depressors form a triangle. One side each will represent God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

    Easter Eggs

    • Easter Eggs are soft-boiled, then dyed using food coloring. After the food coloring is dry, invite your children to decorate with religious themes using stickers or drawings with permanent markers. You can also substitute plastic eggs, which are also easy to decorate. Later, have an Easter egg hunt outside on the church lawn.
