Did you know that you can easily create wonderful art for your bathroom? If you are living in a rented house it can be very difficult to get a new look in a room.
However the some things you can do without upsetting the landlord.
I would start by deciding on a new color scheme.
Once you have decided on a lovely bright color that goes well with the existing decor, you can now buy some matching or contrasting towels.
If you have a shade on your light you could also a change that fairly cheaply.
A new shower curtain will freshen up the bathroom, especially if you incorporate the new colors into it.
I would also buy a collection of little colored soaps which would sit on the vanity.
Now, time for the art.
Go to the dollar shop and buy some small canvases.
Art always looks good in twos and threes.
Buy some cheap acrylic paint in tubes and remember to get colors that match the bathroom.
There are many ways to actually paint the canvases.
You do not have to be an artist to make great art.
If you have three colors you can paint stripes on one canvas of varying thicknesses.
Now do the same to the other canvas.
Once they dry you can have one with the stripes going across and one with the stripes going downwards.
Hang them next to each other for maximum impact.
Maybe you would rather paint circles on to your canvas.
Find something circular to pencil around so you get an even circle.
If you use circles of varying sizes in different colors, they may even look like bubbles.
You may choose to have one canvas with stripes and another with circles.
As long as you use the same combination of colors they will still look great.
