How to Change Cursor Color in Windows XP
- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button, click the "Control Panel," and then double-click "Mouse" to launch the Mouse Properties dialog box. The properties dialog box enables you to configure your mouse pointer and cursor settings.
- 2). Click the "Pointers" tab on the Mouse Properties dialog box. You should see the "Schemes" box. The schemes box includes a variety of options you can use to change your mouse color, size and look.
- 3). Click the drop-down arrow next to the "Schemes" box. Scroll through and select the mouse pointer and cursor color that you want to use. For example, select "Windows Black," if you want to use a black pointer. Other colors that you can use include, "3D-Bronze," or "3D-White." Click "OK" to save the changes when you finish selecting the color that you want to use.
