Manually Enter Code

• 1). Turn on the device you'll be using with the RCA remote control (such as a TV, cable box or DVD player).
  
  
• 2). Hold down the "Code Search" button located on the RCA remote control.
  
  
• 3). While continuing to hold down the "Code Search" button, press the button on the remote that corresponds to the device you turned on in Step 1 (such as the "TV" button).
  
  
• 4). Type in the code for the RCA remote control. You can find this code in the user manual for the remote.
  
  
• 5). Let go of the "Code Search" button.
  
  
• 6). Press the button for the device you turned on in Step 1 and try to control the device with the remote. If this doesn't work, restart the programming process and try a new code.
  
  

Code Search

• 1). Turn on the device you'll be using with the RCA remote control (such as a TV, cable box or DVD player).
  
  
• 2). Hold down the "Code Search" button located on the RCA remote control.
  
  
• 3). Press the button for the device you turned on in Step 1.
  
  
• 4). Let go of the "Code Search" button.
  
  
• 5). Begin pressing the "Power" or "On/Off" button on the RCA remote control. Keep doing this until the remote turns off the device you turned on in Step 1. When the device shuts off, you've found the right code. Press the "Enter" button on the RCA remote control to save the code.
