This lack of focus will only leave you frustrated.
Methods are good to learn but focus on one at a time until you know for sure it is working for you.

Being to broad - Along with jumping from one method to another, you may be focusing on a topic that is too broad with tons of competition.
Since the competition is so high, you don't see results, and you throw in the towel.
