How to Install a Terminal Service Manager in Windows XP
- 1). Reboot your computer. At the Welcome Screen, press "CTRL-ALT-DEL" twice to bring up the Administrator login prompt. Type your Administrator password to log in to Windows XP with maximum privileges.
- 2). Go to Microsoft's download site for the Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools pack. This pack can be installed on either a Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP Professional system, and includes several tools for server administration, including the Terminal Services Manager.
- 3). Download the EXE file and double-click it to extract its contents. One of the three extracted files will have an .MSI extension.
- 4). Double-click the MSI file to install the Administration Tools.
