The 10 Laws of Repeat Web Traffic
Follow these 10 fundamental laws to ensure your clients keep on coming back to your website.

Fresh content - Often.
Update your website pages frequently.
Dormant sites are ignored and even dropped by some search engines.
Placing an update counter on the page showing when it was last edited is a good option.

Always offer additional value on your site - If you use affiliates or partners in your online business you can place reciprocal links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you.
You can also promote their e-books or videos, if these products relate to your market and not competitive your offerings.
3.
The Opt-In - Give your visitors the option to 'opt in' for things like special offers and free gifts.
Placing an opt-in form on your site allows users to input their name and email in exchange for an informative free report or email training series on your product or service.

Easy Bookmark - Your primary page can contain a link with a script 'Book Mark this' or Add to Favorites'.

Site recommendation - Include a link 'Recommend this site' so that your visitor can email your website link, with a pre-formatted title, "Take a look at this", just by a simple click.

Brand yourself - Website branding is important.
The look and feel of your websites, blogs, and other web presence should be consistent so that visitors always know they are on on of your sites.
Colours, logos and slogans should be consistent and always provide a 'Contact Us' link on every page.

Let them know what you're about - Always include a 'Policies' page that clearly states your philosophy and principles in your customer interaction.
Your privacy policy should be posted visibly as well so that clients feel secure when they visit your site.

FAQ - for Have an FAQ page which answers most of the questions, concerns and doubts about your product, service or your company that are likely to be asked.
This helps to resolve most issues first hand.

Making sure they find you again - Each page on your website must contain the right titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your website if they navigate away and lose any bookmarks.

Spam for failure - Spam is a huge no-no.
If a client has opted in for a newsletter, never send them unsolicited or unrelated emails.
They may want to later 'opt out' of the mailings.
In this case be sure you honor their request and remove them off the list immediately.
You never know - They may return if they like your products.
But they will certainly stay away if you continue to send them torrents of mail that they no longer wish to receive.
10.
No question refunds - The same rule goes for refunds.
If you have a guarantee on your product or service, honour it immediately, no questions asked.
Again, you never know clients may return if they like your products, your customer service and company.
