Fast Theme Ideas for a Yearbook
- If you've been tasked with creating a yearbook for your school, whether it's for a day care center, elementary or high school, you can develop a theme that can be used quickly and easily. You will need to either create your yearbook using a graphics program or, alternatively, create an outline and sketches of your design premise, including ideas for the aesthetic appearance of your yearbook, so that a hired graphic artist can assemble the book.
- A fairly straightforward approach for your yearbook is to use graphics that represent the seasons of the year as a background for the yearbook photos. You can find a great array of imagery, including clip art and photos, online in the public domain (free). The photos and content can be arranged chronologically, by season, based on when they were taken or events occurred. You may want to use photos exclusively or intermix photos with clip art or other graphics. You may also choose to add quotes in your yearbook that are representative of each seasonal section.
