How to Fit Wireless Speakers to a Television
- 1). Find the audio output on the back panel of your television. This will be a pair of RCA jacks, one colored red and the other white, labeled "Audio out" or "Line out."
- 2). Plug the input cable of your wireless speakers transmitter into the audio output. If the transmitter's input cable terminates in two RCA plugs, simply insert them into the RCA jacks of the television. If the transmitter's cable terminates in a single 3.5mm male stereo mini-jack, connect the cable to a female stereo mini-jack to dual male RCA adapter cable and then plug it into the television.
- 3). Setup your wireless speakers in the locations you desire. Then plug them into a wall outlet for power.
- 4). Set up your television audio output by accessing the menu of the television. Set the line out to "variable" -- this will change the volume of the wireless speakers automatically when you change the television's volume. Consult your television's manual if you don't know how to access the menu and change settings.
- 5). Turn the television and speakers on and set the television to a normal listening level, then adjust the volume of the wireless speakers to match.
