Honing Your Intuitions to Help You in Your Real Life and Your Law of Attraction Practice

Sometimes, people use their intuition and fail.
But how can intuitions fail if their purpose is to help you? What gives? Intuition, as I've written about in other articles, is a basic faculty of our minds that allows us to have a simple feeling about the world around us.
On a secular level, we can refer to it as "prudence", the ability to understand things about the world beyond the current experience because it relates to a similar experience we've felt in the past.
And because this intuition is part of the unconscious mind, it's apt to error sometimes (e.
g.
the horrible feeling victims of traumatic crimes have near people they feel might hurt them is a bad way this plays out), though it's usually helpful.
On a spiritual level, we can think of intuition as signs or a pushing toward.
Reading your intuition or any phenomena as "a sign" (from God or the universe) can be problematic because you can never be certain it is; however, whether or not the universe is in accord with you, it's often very helpful to see yourself as succeeding in an enterprise, so it doesn't hurt.
But if you consider your intuition as the universe nudging you to do something, you will often directly see results.
And this is really where intuition is helpful for someone studying the law of attraction: inspired action.
So, when someone gets this push toward something, then they should consider following that line of action because it could very well be a pointing toward their desires.
However, if you find yourself feeling an intuitive pull to things that constantly backfire, then, you need to question your intuition.
Luckily, when your intuition consistently backfires, it is also helpful-as long as you know it and act accordingly (i.
e.
do the opposite of what it suggests for you to do!).
I learnt this skill the hard way, through toil and trial, but know how helpful it is.
Just keep in mind that it's a crutch and you're using it as a step to better attraction, not the solution to your attraction dilemmas.
When I began studying the law of attraction, it became clear to me that I had no problem manifesting anything I wanted or that the law worked.
The problem was that I desired conflicting things simultaneously and as such attracted the chaos both entails (either and neither simultaneous) to myself.
As I began working with the idea of relationships and my emotional blocks, I realized that if I crush on someone, something is awry.
And this is because the feeling I'm getting is the same feeling I've always gotten when I have attracted to me someone fitting the stronger of my conflicting desires: the one I don't want anymore.
As I noticed this, I began to clear on it and was able to learn to differentiate the specific feeling of a crush from a more mature attraction, generally to a person's intellect.
And that's how you too can use an intuition that backfires to help you out: don't follow its advice, but learn how it feels and re-label that feeling as what you don't want.
If you think about it, it's not really your intuition's fault-it's delivering you a message, but how it's read is problematic.
So, rename it.
All you need to do is reflect on a situation where you've failed because your intuition messed you up-preferably repeatedly.
If you have trouble thinking of a place, just consider your major blocks-what are the major problem areas in your life? Maybe you find yourself constantly working yourself to death on projects that always fall apart, in the same crappy relationship, always broke even though you work all the time...
Once you have that experience, think back to it and try to relive the feelings you had at the moment.
It may take some effort, but consider that and other similar situations (if available) and try to find out what your intuition felt like particularly.
Now that you know what it feels like on an intuitive level when the universe gives you what you don't want, you just have to remember and actually use this information.
But you might not.
In all honesty, I devised this method then "tested it" (i.
e.
didn't really think I was right or wrong, and kept doing what failed and go figure: I kept failing).
You may do something very similar, but don't beat yourself up: every time you see yourself getting the same lousy results from the same failed methodology, you get just a little closer to being ready to surrender yourself and completely let go.
