How to Make a Beveled Edge on a Ceramic Tile
- 1). Mark the tile where you intend to cut the beveled edge with a pencil. Use a speed square to ensure that you make straight lines.
- 2). Sit the wet saw on a flat surface. Pour water into the saw's water receptacle until the water level reaches the water table line on the saw's interior.
- 3). Adjust the saw blade to the proper height and angle for the beveled edge you want to cut.
- 4). Affix the blade guard over the blade. Leave enough space between the blade guard and the bottom of the blade to properly cut the tile.
- 5). Turn on the wet saw. Line the tile up with the blade. Push the tile slowly through the blade while holding it steady with both hands. This cuts a beveled edge into your ceramic tile.
