GameShark for PS2

• 1). Insert a PlayStation 2 memory card into the first card slot on the console. Power on the console. Place the GameShark disc into the console and reset the PS2. Scroll down the main menu to “Expert Cheat Mode” and press “X.”
  
  
• 2). Press “Circle” to open the “Options” menu. Scroll to “Add” and press “X.” Enter the name of the game using the onscreen keyboard. Scroll to the “Enter” key on the screen and press “X” to save the game.
  
  
• 3). Highlight the game name from the “All Games” list and press the right directional button on your controller to go to the “Cheat Descriptions” menu. Press “Circle” and select “Add.” Enter a description for the cheat such as “Invincibility” using the keyboard. Select “Enter” when finished.
  
  
• 4). Scroll to the game name on the screen, press “Right” to cycle to “Cheat Description” then “Right” again to enter the “Cheat” menu. Press “Circle” and select “Add.”
  
  
• 5). Enter the GameShark code into the space provided. Select “Enter” when finished to return to the games menu. The cheat will automatically be activated.
  
  
• 6). Return to the main menu. Select “Start Game.” Open your PS2 disc tray without turning off the console. Insert your game and close the tray. Your game will begin with your new cheats.
  
  

GameShark for GBA and Game Boy SP

• 1). Place the GameShark into the game slot of the GBA or Game Boy SP. Insert the game you want to add cheats to into the slot of the GameShark device. Power on the console.
  
  
• 2). Scroll to the top of the screen and highlight “New Game.” Press “B.” Enter the name of the game using the letters on the screen. Press “A” to select a letter and “R” to move over one space. Press “Start” when you are finished.
  
  
• 3). Enter the “Master Code” for the game using the onscreen keyboard. Master codes can be found with the GameShark codes on cheat websites such as GameFAQs, GameShark and MyCheats. Press “Select” when finished.
  
  
• 4). Scroll to “Add New Cheat” and press “B.” Enter a description for the cheat code. Press “Start” when finished.
  
  
• 5). Enter the cheat code itself into the next screen. Press “Start” when you are finished to save the code and return to the game menu. Repeat the selection of “Add New Cheat” to enter additional codes. Press “Start” from the “Game Menu” to start the game with the cheats activated.
