Teeth Night Guard - Why They Won"t Work

He asked his friends, he asked his doctor, he asked his dentist.
They all said the same thing, a teeth night guard.
Great, now he had to spend $287 on a mouth guard to stop his teeth grinding.
It worked great, for about 2 weeks...
He realised that he was still grinding his teeth a lot during the day and he noticed that the night guard didn't stop him grinding at night.
His teeth were grinding right through the guard! His jaw would still hurt during the day and even hurt sometimes when the guard as in at night time.
Enough was enough, this night guard wasn't working and he needed something else.
He decided to start researching himself and eventually found something that he thought might have a chance of working.
It was a list of physical therapy exercises that some TMJ specialists developed specifically for teeth grinders and TMJ sufferers.
The exercises work by relaxing and massaging muscles in the jaw, plus other muscles in the body which release pressure on the muscles and tendons in your mouth and jaw.
The exercises seemed a bit too simple to be very effective, but he decided he had nothing to lose.
He had to do very simple things like opening and closing his mouth, pushing his jaw to the right and left, up and down and basically just moving his jaw and stretching it in many different ways.
He was surprised to feel that some of the pain stopped straight away and his jaw felt a lot more relaxed.
