    All for One-One for All Foundation

    • Former Denver Nuggets basketball player Calvin Natt started the All for One-One for All Foundation (afoofa.org) after he retired from the court. Through this foundation, he has assisted families coping with the death of a child. AFOOFA helps bereaved families pay for funerals for their children and provides counseling afterwards.

    Wisconin Oneida Tribe

    • Parents of deceased children under the age of five who are members of the Oneida Tribe (oneidanation.org) in Wisconsin may receive assistance with burial costs up to $3,500. Families may earmark portions of that grant for specific expenses, including up to $1,000 for a marker or headstone.

    Children's Compassion Fund

    • The Children's Compassion Fund (CCF) helps parents deal with the struggles around having a child with cancer. CCF is a program of Variety (varietync.org), a children's charity based in northern California. The fund also provides money to help families pay for their children's funerals as well as counseling services.

    Connor Kirby Infant Memorial Foundation

    • The Connor Kirby Infant Memorial Foundation (connerkirbymemorial.org) assists families of deceased infants with the costs of funerals, burials, and cremation and cemetery expenses. The foundation is located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and families must live in Pennsylvania or Maryland to be eligible to apply for assistance.

    The Unforgettables Foundation

    • The Unforgettables Foundation (theunforgettables.com) provides assistance with burial costs to families in more than 60 cities in southern California.. More than 2,000 families have received assistance from the organization since its founding in 2001.

    America Children's Society

    • The America Children's Society (childrenscharities.com) in Marlboro, New Jersey has assisted some families with the costs of burials for their childen. One couple received $2,500 from the organization in 2011 when their child passed away. The organization serves children with cancer, their families and other disadvantaged children.
