How do I Apply Makeup to Women With a Lot of Eyelid?
- 1). Apply a neutral eye shadow that closely matches skin tone. It should be just a bit lighter or darker than the natural skin color. It is okay to have a bit of shimmer, but not a lot of glitter. Using a soft eye shadow brush, apply the eye shadow starting right next to the lash line and all the way up to the eyebrow.
- 2). Apply a walnut-colored eye shadow in the crease of your eyelid, using a contoured eye shadow brush. The bristles on the brush are slanted and relatively stiff. Smudge the eye shadow into the crease and soften it up a bit.
- 3). Apply the same walnut-colored eye shadow along your lash line using a small eye shadow brush. Start applying the eye shadow in the inner corner of the eye and move toward the outside, on the upper lid. You can either leave the lower line alone or apply shadow in the outer three-quarters of the eye.
- 4). Apply dark brown mascara to the eyelashes. This is the most suitable color for most people. Apply at least two to three coats to the upper eyelashes. Do not put any mascara on the lower lashes.
