How to Prepare Yourself for an IVF Cycle?
Although future cannot be changed but you can make several health changes on your own which do make a difference. The factors on which IVF cycle and you as well very much depends are the quality of egg and the embryo ability to implant successfully. Therefore it is good to work with your health several months prior to the IVF cycle.

In addition it is true that individual has specific needs depending on its health conditions. Here are some tips you can follow to prepare yourself for an IVF cycle:
• The first and foremost thing you can do is make some necessary changes in your diet or eating habits. Eat high quality, whole grain and low glycemic index foods. Remember what you eat has a huge impact on all aspects of your well- being. Avoid refined carbohydrates, sugars, trans- fat, non- organic processed foods and large amount of soy products that all have been linked to fertility problems.
• Fresh fruits and vegetables and high quality healthy fats such as foods rich in polyunsaturates like seeds, nuts, uncontaminated fish and avocado should be a big part of your diet.
• Supplements that are specially designed to provide the essential vitamins, micro nutrient and minerals may also consider for pregnancy.
• Common exercise such as walking and yoga four times in a week is helpful for pregnancy as it reduces stress and improves blood circulation. However any new exercise is not advisable during pregnancy.
•You may consider meditation and acupuncture, both meant for stress relief and also improve IVF outcomes. Moderate exercise such as gentle swimming around 5 times per week for 30 minute session is good for pregnancy.
• After embryo transfer, greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol completely.
• Reduce load on lever by eating organic food. Avoid foods that are sprayed in pesticides that have estrogenic effects and can lower egg quality.
• Prior to IVF cycle, it's good to get into a healthy sleep cycle for at least one month i.e. 8 hours of sleep. Take sleep in dark and peaceful area to improve natural melatonin (good for healthy follicle development) production.
• After embryo transfer, avoid extreme heat, do not lift anything heavy, drink lots of water for cell development and to prevent constipation and do everything in moderation.
