    • 1). Press the "Home" button on your iPad, located below the touch-sensitive display.

    • 2). Tap the "ePrint" icon to launch the app. Type your email address to create an account with HP ePrint if you want to be able to do public printing, and then tap "Go." Press the "Home" button to return to the home screen. Tap the "Mail" icon to launch the app. Check your email for an activation code from HP, and follow the instructions to activate your account.

    • 3). Press the "Home" button twice to see a list of recent apps. Tap the "ePrint" icon from the list to return to the ePrint app. The "What Would You Like to Print" screen appears.

    • 4). Tap "Email." Tap the name of your email provider, such as "Google GMail or "AOL," or tap "Other IMAP Account." Type your email address and password, and then tap "Done."

    • 5). Tap "Email" once again, and then tap the name of the email account from which you want to print a message. The ePrint app logs in to your account and retrieves your messages. Tap an email message that you want to print.

    • 6). Tap "Print," then tap "Choose Apple AirPrint." The ePrint app automatically looks for compatible printers available over Wi-Fi. Tap the name of a printer that's connected to your company or home wireless network. Tap print options, such as the number of copies to print, and then tap "Print."

    • 7). Tap "Print," then tap "Near Me" if you have an iPad Wi-Fi + 3G and want to use a public printer, and have previously signed up for an HP ePrint account. The basic iPad does not have GPS and cannot browse for nearby public printers based on GPS coordinates. You can also type a keyword or a ZIP code in the search bar, and then tap "Search." Tap the name of public print service location, and then tap "Print." The ePrint app sends your email to the printer through HP's cloud-based network. You will see a retrieval code, which you must bring to the print service location to get your printout, to protect your privacy. Printing prices vary by location.
