How to Get Your W-2 From ADP
- 1). Advise your employer at least 2 months before the end of the year that you wish to use the online services of ADP to download your W-2. Ask your employer for the registration pass code given by ADP to employers to access the online services, the company code given by ADP, and for your employee ID number.
- 2). Open your Internet browser and visit the website of ADP to register and create your account. Open the website and click on "Register Now" button to start the one-time registration process. In the following window, enter the registration pass code given by your employer.
- 3). In the "Verify Your Identity" window, enter your name, Social Cecurity number, and birth date. Enter your employee ID, the company code, the zip code where you reside, and the tax year on the 2nd page. Enter your personal contact information such as e-mail and phone on the 3rd page. Create your security profile on the 4th page by choosing and answering several security questions. Read and copy the user ID assigned to you by ADP, and create your password in page 5. A confirmation message will advise you of successful registration.
- 4). Click "Log On" to navigate to the home page of the website. Click on "Sign-In," enter your user ID, and enter your password. View the program interface, and see the list of tax periods containing W-2 records on file with ADP. Click on the tax year to see a copy of your W-2 form. Click on the save button on the top menu bar, and save the file in your computer. Open the saved file in your computer, right click on it to display a drop down menu, and click on "Print" to print a copy of the W-2 form.
