Anderson Door's timber collection offers 15 designs to choose from with five window options. Made with paint-grade wood, each timber door from Anderson has a poplar wood overlay with durable plastic windows.

Poplar is a common wood type in North America. A durable hardwood, poplar has a fine-grained, even texture. Poplar is naturally light-colored, growing in an off-white or pale brown color. Varnish and paint stick well to poplar wood, spreading evenly, though it is not known for easy, even staining. Because of its strength and texture, poplar is commonly used in furniture and building.

Anderson's Ridge line comes in nine different door designs and six window designs, all styled with a carriage house look with attractive detailing. Made with cedar, the Ridge line is made with stain-grade wood.

Cedar is a lightweight softwood with a straight grain. Cedar wood varieties used in building include Alaskan Yellow, Western Red, Aromatic and Spanish. As the colorful names suggest, cedar wood naturally grows with a rich yellow or warm red tint. Weather-resistant, cedar is highly durable and very popular as a building material. Cedar's resistance to splitting and natural workability make it a popular choice in wood doors and other exterior construction applications.

    Plateau

    • Plateau garage doors from Anderson are highly customizable. Customers have the option of choosing their own carriage door style, even type of wood. Pick exotic or domestic woods at your discretion to match the building materials and style used on the rest of the property.
