BenQ Wants You To Switch From LCD Projection to DLP
Dateline: 04/01/2014
Epson has been hitting hard against DLP video projector makers, touting the high color brightness capabilities of its projectors that employ 3LCD technology. However, DLP projector maker, BenQ has stepped up to the plate with a new outreach program touting the benefits of DLP's wide color accuracy and range display capabilities, which it implements through its "Colorific" technology.
With BenQ being the number one maker of DLP video projectors, Worldwide, and the fastest growing display manufacturer in North America, it is trying to further solidify its market position via its new "BenQ Cares" outreach program, that is intended to bring a quality, affordable, video projection experience to consumers, businesses, and educational institutions.
To kick off the program, BenQ is offering up a Colorfic Projector Upgrade contest that provides an opportunity for any consumer, business, or school that currently owns an LCD projector to win a $5,000 BenQ DLP video projector (the actual model number of the projector will be determined based on the needs of the winner within that $5,000 price point).
The contest application deadline is April 25, 2014, and the winner will be notified via email and also announced on BenQ's Facebook page on May 13, 2014.
For all the contest details, refer to the Official BenQ Cares Colorific Projector Upgrade Page to fill out the entry form.
