How to Give Photos a 1960s Look?
- 1). Lower the contrast of your photo. Film in the 1960s was not as vibrant as today's digital pictures.
- 2). Adjust the color. The photo should look somewhat washed-out, so the color saturation needs to be lowered. Play with the hues until you get the look you want. Any adjustments can be undone.
- 3). Reduce the sharpness. Older color photos were not quite as sharp as they are today.
- 4). Add noise or grain. This will add some texture to the photo to compensate for the reduced sharpness.
