Are All Those Hackers Really Coming From China? Seriously Are They Really?

Is the US government under attack and are our major corporations really being attacked by the Chinese military or Chinese government sanctioned hackers from their cyber war team? Or is it rather just a large group of rogue hackers taking it upon themselves through a sense of nationalistic pride, and a challenge to break in and cause havoc on computer systems in the US? Perhaps that is the real question, but those authorities behind the scenes and in military IT security know the truth.
A disturbing article recently appeared in Homeland Security Online news on June 16, 2011 titled; "China's sustained cyberattacks on U.
S.
are an economic, strategic threat" which stated "China has been engaged in a sustained guerrilla cyber war against the United States, with two goals in mind: first, stealing research and development, software source code, manufacturing know-how, and government plans; second, to counter US military superiority by threatening to damage the U.
S.
economy; Congress and the administration do nothing in the face of these cyber assaults is puzzling.
" Interestingly enough, this isn't only happening in the United States, as it has also happened with the German government, the UK, and Australia as well.
In fact in Australia as I understand it the Prime Minister was attacked by hackers based in China.
Now then besides governments, many corporations are quite worried because they don't want their trade secrets sneaking away.
Major oil companies have been hacked, and data was stolen regarding the known oil reserves around the world.
This is something that China definitely needs, and it's government and military are very concerned about, so one has to ask why would Chinese teenagers and hackers wish to break into those companies and specifically look for that research data and raw information? That kind of points to a government led operation.
Of course the Chinese hackers aren't alone, as there is also that group called, if you can believe it, it sounds rather hilarious; "Anonymous" - who have supposedly broken into the IT computer systems at ADP, Citigroup, Nintendo, and almost several defense contractors.
Who's behind that? It seems no one is safe, and it's hard to tell who's on whose team, and how many of these hackers are really just individuals operating in concert, connection, or small groups with each other using ISPs from around the world to hide their tracks? Nevertheless, far too many tracks are leading back to China these days, and that's a significant problem.
Meanwhile, if you are a computer programmer, and you want a career in IT security there seems to be plenty of work out there for you.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
