However, even though there were major difficulties with the system, there is no shortage of support tools that users can employ to guide them through resolving problems with Vista. - Windows Vista is a complex operating system, and if you have no idea where to start, Microsoft Fix It is a good solution. Microsoft Fix It is a downloadable troubleshooting application that will seek out errors and problems with Windows Vista and will suggest specific actions for the user to follow. - Microsoft Knowledge Base is an online database for support and troubleshooting steps. When you encounter a problem with Vista, you can search this database for support specific to your issue. The Knowledge Base has information about a lot more problems than the Fix It service does, but many of the solutions are highly technical in nature and will be difficult for novice users to use.
