DIY: Japanese Floor Cushion
- 1). Cut two pieces of fabric into 36-inch squares.
- 2). Press the front sides of the pieces together. Insert straight pins along the edges to keep the fabric bound together.
- 3). Sew a 1/2-inch hem around the edges. Leave a 6-inch gap in one edge for stuffing.
- 4). Fill the pillow to the desired thickness with fiberfill or buckwheat kernels.
- 5). Stitch the 6-inch opening closed with a sewing machine or by hand.
