103 58
Could this be you? * Getting up early in the morning, having a shower and a quick coffee before running off to work.
* Looking at the pile of work on your desk that never gets smaller.
* Checking your watch every 15 minutes not to miss the next coffee break.
* Finding excuses to head off and talk to other colleges.
* Clocking out on the minute.
* Getting some snacks for the evening on the way home.
* Get the pizza out of the freezer for dinner.
* Spend the rest of the evening on front of the TV.
If this is close to how you are living, you have a problem.
You are spending most of your adult life doing a work that is not fulfilling and enriching.
Your motivation for work is money, not the pleasure of being creative and inspired to reach a desired goal.
- Have you ever got lost in time when doing something you loved to do? - Did you ever wake up early morning because you could not wait to continue with your exciting new project? This is a totally different feeling than dragging yourself out of bed in the morning preparing for another days work that you do not enjoy.
Total inspiration A few days ago I watched the TV news, telling about a man from New Zealand, working as a paramedic in the middle of Bangkok rescuing wounded people during the political unrest.
He started as a volunteer teacher in Thailand and got involved in helping people affected by the tsunami disaster.
Despite of this terrible disaster with many thousand dead people, he felt inspired by helping as much as he could.
The joy of helping other people grow so strong that he decided to privately invest in his own fully equipped ambulance car.
Nothing could stop him.
He was beaming with joy although risking both life and all his investment every day.
Did he find his life purpose? Yes he did, and so could you! You came to this world with your unique code and skills.
There is only one unique you on this planet.
Nobody has the same combination of parents, upbringing and experiences.
Whatever your background is, you have developed unique knowledge and skills that can be used to help other people.
It is your birth right to be inspired and fulfilled and it has nothing to do with money.
I am not telling you to quit your work and run off looking for your purpose in life.
I am rather asking you to explore and consider the parts of your life that makes you happy.
Cut out the TV The second biggest time consumer in your life, after your work, is the TV.
Instead of turning on the TV, invest the time in considering a few small steps that you could take to further develop the parts or activities in your life that you enjoy.
Do this constantly and you will soon find other people wanting your help, advice or knowledge in some form.
Did you know that almost all millionaires started from nothing.
They found an inspiration in their life that they developed into something very big.
The key is, they would still have done the same, even if they did not earn any money at all.
The good news is, doing what you love to do almost always ends up with a great reward in your life.
Your duties It is your duty to explore what makes you happy.
There are no limits to what you can accomplish.
You waste your life and time by not making a positive contribution to the world, using your unique code you were given at birth.
