Kids Halloween Drink Ideas

    Dirty Bath Water

    • Make a juice pitcher full of dirty bath water to gross out the guests at a Halloween party. Take a ½ gallon of rainbow sherbet out of the freezer approximately 15 minutes before making the drink. Add the sherbet to the juice pitcher and then pour in a prepared 12-ounce can of lemonade and 2 liters of 7-Up. As the ingredients mix, the sherbet will turn the drink into a watery grayish brown that looks like a dirty, sudsy bath.

    Goulade with a Scary Surprise

    • Make a pitcher full of scary "goulade" with a gruesome surprise floating inside. Prepare a package of blue jelly powder by adding 1 ½ cups of boiling water and mixing until the powder dissolves. Let the mixture set for a few minutes and prepare the surprise. Clean the inside and outside of a latex glove and turn it inside out. Puncture the glove with a long skewer near the opening and push it through to the other side so that the glove can hang. Place the skewer on top of the juice pitcher and pour the jelly mix into the glove. Tie the top of the glove closed and let the jelly mix set firmly in the refrigerator for two hours. Place the glove in the pitcher without the skewer and fill up the pitcher with lemonade or lime-ade.

    Scary Witch's Brew

    • Make a scary witch's brew full of slimy things and steam. Bring 1 cup of cranberry juice and 1 cup of candied ginger to a boil in a saucepan. Add long thin slices of orange peel to the mixture and then let the mixture cool in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, add 1 cup of orange juice, 3 cups of cranberry juice, a 12-ounce can of apple juice concentrate, a 6-ounce can of lime-ade concentrate, 4 cups of water and 2 cups of seedless grapes. Let the mixture cool in the refrigerator for two hours. Add 2, 2-liter bottles of ginger ale and then a single 1-pound piece of dry ice using tongs to make the brew bubble and steam. Wait until the dry ice has smoldered before serving.

    Wormy Punch

    • Make a bowl full of wormy swamp punch. Place 20 to 25 gummy worms on the bottom of a 12-cup bundt pan and pour 6 cups of any orange flavored drink on top of the worms. Alternatively, add gummy worms to ice trays and pour the orange drink over top. Place the pan or trays in the freezer for 24 hours. Before the party, pour a 2-liter bottle of lemon lime soda into a punch bowl. Add a can of pineapple juice and a can of concentrated lemon lime drink to the bowl. Mix the juices together and then add the gummy worm ring or gummy worm ice cubes to the punch bowl. Hang gummy worms over the side of the bowl for decoration.
