Goji is often hailed as the latest and greatest discovery, or at least since sliced bread.
Everybody seems content just to say "it works, so try some" and then expect you to buy Goji.
Is that good enough for you? Absolutely not! Is Goji a Tree? No, not exactly.
Lavender-purple cone flowers transform to small, shiny red Goji berries about the size of a green pea.
The berries grow in a drooping cluster of about eight berries on a shrubby, perennial bush.
The bushes grow in hot, humid weather with sandy soil.
Where is Goji from? Goji is mostly grown in Asia and China.
In China, it is grown in the Tibet region, as well as the Himalayan Mountains area.
Tibetan Goji is generally considered inferior and bitter compared to Himalayan Goji.
Why? Tibetan Goji tends to be bitter because of growing conditions, but mostly manufacturing process.
In Asia, Goji is mostly grown in Central Asia, but some is also grown in the North.
Although this Goji is good, it is not grown in such volume so it hard to find.
What's Goji's History? The first known usage of Goji is 100 A.

Ancient native healers swore by Goji and claimed it increased longevity of their native patients, some living a century.
The native healers using goji lived in India, Nepal, China, Asia, and Mongolia.
In Asia, Goji is called the red diamond fruit, partly because of its ancient value.
And, of course it is brilliant red, especially in the sun's rays.
Where is Goji Available Today? Goji is available in the US, Canada, Bermuda, Mexico, Australia, Fuji, New Zealand, Austria, Germany and 11 smaller countries in the Caribbean.
Although it is a world-wide juice, the original countries still claim their heritage; they won't let us forget where we got this berry from!
