How to See the Administrator Password in Windows XP Run Command

    • 1). Click on the "Start" button and click "Run."

    • 2). In the text box displayed on the pop-up window, type "control userpasswords2" without quotations and click "OK."

    • 3). Click to select the "Administrator" user name displayed in the section of the pop-up window titled "Users For This Computer." Proceed by clicking on the "Reset Password" tab located on the bottom-right corner.

    • 4). Type the new Administrator password you want to assign to your computer in the text box displayed next to where it says "New Password" and retype the new password in the text box next to where it reads "Confirm New Password"

    • 5). Click "OK" and restart your computer.

    • 6). Log in again with your new administrator password. With the new administrator password you will regain the administrative rights you need to operate your Windows XP system without limits.
