Turn Off Alert Sound Switch

• 1). Locate the switch on the back of the UPS unit named "Alert Sound On/Off."
  
  
• 2). Switch the Alert Sound toggle to the "Off" position.
  
  
• 3). Put the UPS in Battery Backup mode. The Alert Sound will not be audible.
  
  

Disable Alert Sound Using Test Switch

• 1). Locate the On/Off/Test switch on the back of the UPS unit.
  
  
• 2). Put the UPS in Battery Backup mode.
  
  
• 3). Press and hold the "On/Off/Test" button for about 90 seconds. The audible alarm is silenced.
