You've asked yourself what good would come out of being a guest on a web broadcast.
You may say something like, "Surely there isn't much of a market for that.

Some shows are big and others are small operations.
As with terrestrial radio stations some have bigger followings and some have smaller ones.

You would be amazed at who has an internet show and who listens to them.
You may just get the break you're looking for.

They're a lot of fun.
The hosts are usually doing these shows for fun and they look for informative and fun guests.
If you're willing to be a good guest, someone is willing to put you on their show.

They're free to come on.
There are some stations who charge you to come on but I would recommend you avoid doing those.
They are called "Vanity Radio".
That means you pay to play.
There really isn't any reason for you to pay to do a live interview.
There are too many freebie ones out there! 4.
You can become a regular.
If you impress the host, the host is more than likely going to ask you to come back for more shows.
As long as you're willing and able to come on the show hosts will often ask you to repeat your appearance.
There is nothing wrong with this.
Many times you can discuss the same topic in a new way or you may even have a new product to promote.
Either way, it's a great way to get you noticed.

You can add podcasts/internet radio shows to your resume for when other shows ask what shows you've been on.
Hosts often talk and you would be surprised at who knows who in the podcasting game.
If you're a great guest, you can get booked on other shows.
Good hosts often trade off talent.
