My Travel Blog
Ever since I was a little kid, I had an immense need to travel. My parents were very supportive and took me on so many tours near and far from home. It was amazing how much I managed to travel due to the loving care and support of my parents. In my earlier days, I travelled the length and breadth of India with my parents, until I was old enough to travel in my school excursions. As a little kid of 4 years I slide down the snow clad slopes of Manali and walked the entire Shimla Mall road alone. We explored the amazing valleys in Kasuali and the Zozila pass. We drove through the sunflower gardens on our way to Chandighar and drank down tall glasses of Lassi in Ludhiana. With my school excursions I travelled primarily down south, exploring the Niligiri ranges, bustling streets of Kochi and visited the tip of the Indian mainland on Kanyakumari. It was probably the best time of my life. I had learned to live on the road and enjoy life as it comes, and to live without regrets. At a very early age, I realised that I wanted to be a traveller exploring the world. I had started writing my blog from a very young age and it was already gathering a great number of subscribers. After completing my graduation in mass media, I decided to become a full time traveller.
My education in mass media helped me get a good grip over essential things like digital content creation; content management and user generated content management. It was hard work and I got my head around it very quickly. I finally managed to get some people to sponsor my travel and I set off on my first commissioned trip to Sri Lanka. It was a fabulous experience and I actually got to see some of great insights into the Sinhalese culture. By then, I had monetized my blog and started earning handsome revenue from it. I was sure that I would be able to self-sponsor my next trip and send out some amazing photos with a new camera. It was one of the best things in my life. On returning from Sri Lanka, I indulged in some home food. I got off writing in detail about the journey. Just when I thought I was done and finished, I found myself packing my bag for my next trip to Thailand. My blog was really receiving a lot of look ups and hits on a daily basis. My life was headed in the right direction, making the most of every opportunity that came my way. My parents were so proud of me, and always supported my throughout my journey.
The digital content creations, content management skills help me pursue my goals and reach them efficiently. I also learnt a lot about user generated content management. My blog revenue almost doubled and since then, things have gotten a lot more comfortable. I can completely manage myself now and in fact sometimes help my parents with their resources. This is how I managed my travel blog.
