  Part of the fun of Halloween is finding a costume idea you can pull off to impress everyone. Halloween is a time for letting your imagination soar and being whatever you want to become. Designing a creative costume that will make you stand out in a crowd is only limited by your imagination, so let your imagination roam free to put together a costume that will turn heads on Halloween.
  
  

Chicken Cord on Blue

• This is a creative play on words and a costume you don't often see. Dress all in blue. Anything blue will do. Wrap a cord around you and carry a rubber chicken to complete the chicken cord on blue outfit. This outfit will get you a lot of puzzled looks and will keep people guessing.
  
  

Half and Half

• Consider going as half man, half woman. Make one side of yourself up as a male and the other as a female. Make the main costume half suit and half dress. Wear long hair with makeup on one side, short hair without makeup on the other.
  
  

Candlestick

• Use cardboard to create a candlestick and flame. Wrap the candle around your body and cut a flame from the cardboard you can wear on your head. As an added creative touch, fashion a light you can fit in the flame hat and become a walking lit candlestick for Halloween.
  
  

Box Costumes

• Find a large cardboard box and use markers to create a box of your favorite cereal. You can also use a box to create other food package costume ideas, including a Rubik's Cube, a pinball machine or a jukebox. Cardboard boxes can form the basis of many creative costume ideas.
