Party Streamers - Create a Colorful Display
Create a delightful display using colorful crepe paper streamers.
Find an excellent selection of the solid colors that you would like to start with.
Whether you need a display for a wedding shower, a baby shower an anniversary or graduation, retirement party, or simply a birthday, this is a great place to begin.
There are couple of different bases you can use.
One is a table, and the other can be a white board or bulletin board.
* Begin by covering the base with white butcher paper or other solid color tablecloth or plastic covering.
Be sure to attach the corners firmly so that if it is on a bulletin board the whole thing doesn't come crashing down unexpectedly, and if it is a tablecloth, you probably still want to secure the edges with tape or something underneath discreetly for the same reason, especially if it is out of doors because of the wind factor.
* Next, starting in one corner, attach the crepe paper or streamer, and then begin to twist slowly, allowing enough of the strip to reach the end of the table or bulletin board.
You will want to count the twists that you make so that you can make each side the same.
Droop it a little to create fun swags on the edges.
Measure as closely as you can the amount you use for each side so that you can make each side even.
You don't have to get out the measuring tape, just eyeballing it usually works.
Then continue to do this on all sides of the display.
* One option is to add two or more colors twisted together.
This forms a little more depth to your arrangement.
You can use the same colors on opposite sides, or you can twist them together and use it for all the sides.
Making more than one row can really add a great deal, too.
* Add some crepe paper flowers or bunched up bows to the corners and then combine them with some free flowing streamers to really make it look nice.
* Then you can finish up by adding your pictures in various places and adding objects of interest in between the photos or images.
Creating a display may seem like an insignificant thing, but people love to look at the pictures and objects that bring the person or persons of honor to mind.
There is nothing more important than giving them the best possible means of exposure.
A great display can do this and immediately set the aura of the occasion.
Sometimes it is the little
