How to Braid Hair When Sewing in a Bob
- 1). Braid hair by separating the parted portion of the hair into three sections. Use your left hand to hold the left section of the hair, and the right hand to hold the right section. Cross the left section over the middle section, then the right over the left and under the middle. As you cross the left and the right sections, they will each become the middle section. Continue to braid the hair in this pattern, while tightening the 3 sections as you go along.
- 2). Locate the center of your head, then use a comb to section off the hair. Start to braid (Cornrow) the upper section of your hair in a continuous circle pattern, occasionally parting a new section as you go along.
- 3). Stop braiding your hair when you have braided the upper half of your head. Part the remaining hair in small sections, starting from the hairline to the middle. Braid your hair from the hairline to the middle of the head. Continue braiding the hair in this pattern until the lower half is completed.
- 4). Gather all the loose braided ends in the back of the head. Cornrow (the same as braids) the hair downward until you reach the nape of your neck. You can now begin to sew in the bob weave.
