Things to Do at Night at the Luxor
- Enjoying a meal in one of the Luxor's restaurants prepares you for a long night in Vegas. With nearly a dozen dining options, the hotel has a restaurant that will appeal to you no matter your budget or taste preferences. For example, the Luxor's Tender Steak and Seafood restaurant serves up aged prime beef and fresh seafood until 11 p.m. nightly. The Mexican-inspired T&T offers an authentic selection of regional specialties, while less formal dining options are found at the food court, including McDonald's and Nathan's. Cap off the evening with a cocktail at the hotel's Burger Bar or Rí Rá Irish Pub.
- The Luxor casino features thousands of games including craps, poker, rapid and European roulette, blackjack and over 1,500 slot machine games. First-timers need not fear about inexperience. Luxor dealers provide helpful tips and explain how to play a table game if you are unsure. Or, if you enjoy placing bets on sports, do so at the Luxor's sports book located in the casino. Best of all, the 120,000-square-foot casino is open all night, so you can play as long as you like.
- Find nightly entertainment at any one of the hotel's eight bars and night clubs. If you feel like dressing up and dancing, check out the two-story LAX Nightclub. LAX is over 26,000 square feet and offers several VIP options for individuals desiring a more private experience. The club is open Wednesday through Saturday, and you must be 21 or over to enter. If you want a more relaxed, intimate experience, visit the CatHouse, which was inspired by a 19th-century bordello. The CatHouse is open nightly and is recognized as one of the best ultra lounges in Vegas, according to KTLA in Los Angeles.
- It is widely known that Las Vegas is home to some amazing shows, and the Luxor is no exception. For example, the 90-minute Cirque du Soleil show "Criss Angel: Believe" combines the amazing magical talents of illusion specialist Criss Angel with the acrobatic stunts of Cirque du Soleil. If you feel more like enjoying a laugh, check out the hotel's resident comedian Carrot Top or take in "Menopause: The Musical."
