Convert the MPG File to MP4

• 1). Open a Web browser and enter the URL for the Media-Convert application.
  
  
• 2). Click in the "File" input box to show the file selector.
  
  
• 3). Navigate to and select the MPG file to convert.
  
  
• 4). Select "Automatic Detection" from the "Input Format" drop-down box.
  
  
• 5). Select the "MP4" option from the "Output Format" drop-down list.
  
  
• 6). Click the blue "OK" button to convert the file.
  
  
• 7). Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the newly converted MP4 file. Test it in a compatible player.
  
  

Copy the MP4 to the BlackBerry Pearl

• 1). Connect the BlackBerry device to the PC with a USB cable or Bluetooth connection.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Yes" button to enable access to mass storage on the BlackBerry.
  
  
• 3). Open Windows Explorer on the PC and navigate to the BlackBerry device listed as a drive.
  
  
• 4). Click the "BlackBerry" folder.
  
  
• 5). Click the "Video" folder.
  
  
• 6). With the Windows Explorer open to the correct folder on the BlackBerry device, locate the MP4 file to transfer.
  
  
• 7). Drag and drop the MP4 file into the Video folder on the BlackBerry Pearl.
  
  
• 8). Disconnect the device and unplug the USB connector cable from the PC and the BlackBerry.
  
  
• 9). Test the MP4 movie by playing it on the BlackBerry Pearl.
