How to Find Your ECID
- 1). Connect your iPhone to your PC with its USB cable. Power it off by pressing and holding the "Power" button. Press and hold the "Power" and "Home" buttons simultaneously until the iTunes icon appears on the phone.
- 2). Download Microsoft USBView (see Resources). The application is needed to view the iPhone USB connection tree. Click "Open" and double-click on the application icon to complete the program installation.
- 3). Select "Config Descriptors" from the menu labeled "Options." Press "F5" on your computer's keyboard.
- 4). Locate the listing "Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode)." Write town the 16-digit ECID number.
- 5). Unplug the USB cable from the iPhone, reconnect it and let the phone sit for one minute. The phone will return to its normal state.

- 4). Write down the 16-digit ECID number, listed on the line titled "Serial Number."
