How To Create A Free Offer That Gets Traffic
OK, so the big question is, "How do l get as much traffic as possible to my page by offering a freebie?" Well, the first thing is to think like your prospect, and ask the question, "If l was looking in this area, what would get me to click on the link and go to this page?" The first step is to offer something of value, if you offer the same old RR, (Resell Rights) e-books, etc, you will probably get little to no traffic.
Why? Because the vast majority if not all of the stuffon a Resell Rights site is either a product that people don't want, or it is a product that people once wanted, but don't anymore.
If you put up a pile of small, fuzzy images of worn out RR e-books, software, etc you will probably get dismal traffic from it.
Although there are a few products on these sites that could be given away for a good click through rate.
Although being a member of one of these sites for over a year, l did try the bonus e-book, software route after running a survey to see what ones people would want out of about 50.
It got whittled down to about 25, which l added to my own e-books.
With dismal results.
But...
I also got some videos, and tried again with a 7 part video series on" How to find a hot niche and turn it into cash".
Trying again meaning that l offered the free video course in exchange for an email, or opt in into a series of videos starting with this one.
This time around l had much better results, and offering the first video for free certainly helped get great traffic to my page.
Video certainly can increase your traffic or sales by 15 - 20%, so it is worth doing, and virtually everyone has access to Microsoft Movie Maker, It usually comes free with Windows, but you can download it for free as well.
And create a quick video showing the product from different angles or just panning around the product will do.
Then download it to YouTube, and pop the code onto your page, making sure that the end of the video has an image of an arrow pointing to your link for a few minutes.
Although these days you can set YouTube videos so it won't show other related videos at the end of your video.
Software is another good freebie to offer your visitors, but not RR, for the same reasons given above.
Creating it yourself, can run into the 10s of thousands of dollars, and take months of effort, but it can make you substantial amounts of money for you as well.
So if you want to consider this route, it might pay to offer a restricted version or limited time version first to get the click!
