How to Get Rid of Ink on a Cloth
- 1). Place your ink-stained cloth on top of a clean cloth. This will help prevent the stain from affecting any other layers of the garment.
- 2). Purchase a bottle of glycerin, which you can get in most pharmacies, as recommended by Real Simple magazine. Otherwise, use a bottle of hairspray. The effect will be the same. Apply a small amount to the stain using the Q-tip.
- 3). Mix water with a little bit of laundry detergent in a small bowl. Just a couple drops of a mild detergent will do the trick. Use the Q-tip to apply to the stain. Rub the substance into the fabric.
- 4). Put the cloth in the washer with detergent. Do not put it in the dryer unless the stain has disappeared.
