Break Long Posts With Subheadings

• 1). Sign in to your Blogger account. Click the “New Post” button under the title of your blog in the Dashboard page to open the Blogger Post Editor page.
  
  
• 2). Type a title for the blog post into the “Title” input field. Paste or type the main text for the post in the text input box.
  
  
• 3). Scroll through the post. After every two to three paragraphs, insert an extra paragraph break by clicking on the page and pressing “Enter” or “Return” on your computer keyboard.
  
  
• 4). Type a brief subheading title above each section of text. The subheading should relate directly to the text below. Make the subheading interesting and punchy to hold the attention of your readers.
  
  
• 5). Select and highlight the subheading. Click the “B” bold button on the Post Editor toolbar to make the subheading stand out on the page.
  
  
• 6). Click the blue “Preview” button below the Post Editor to see how the post looks on your blog. Click the orange “Publish” button to save the post and publish it on your blog.
  
  

Break Long Posts With Jump Breaks

• 1). Create a new post in Blogger in the same way as in the previous section.
  
  
• 2). Scroll to the end of the second or third paragraph of the post text in the Post Editor. Click on the page at this location.
  
  
• 3). Click the “Insert Jump Break” button to the left of the “Alignment” button in the Post Editor toolbar. Blogger inserts a gray line at the insertion location. When you publish the blog post, only the text above this line appears on the blog’s home page. Visitors can click the “Read More” link to view the entire post.
  
  
• 4). Click “Publish” to publish the post with the jump break to your blog.
